How does Dropcause connect to Stripe?

Via Stripe OAuth — you click Connect Stripe, authorise on Stripe's site, and you're done. No webhook setup, no API keys to copy. Takes about 30 seconds.

Will my customers actually respond?

One-click surveys sent within minutes of cancellation get significantly higher response rates than traditional exit surveys. There's no form to fill — the customer just taps a reason. Lower friction, more data.

What happens when a customer cancels?

Within minutes of cancellation, Dropcause automatically sends a branded one-click survey email. Their reason is logged to your dashboard. You don't have to do anything.

What counts as "recoverable churn"?

Cancellations where the stated reason suggests the customer could have been retained — things like "too expensive", "missing a feature", "not using it enough". Dropcause tags these automatically and calculates the total MRR opportunity.

Can I send surveys from my own domain?

Yes. Connect your Resend account in settings and surveys will send from your own email address. Otherwise they'll send from hello@dropcause.com.

What billing models does it work with?

Any Stripe subscription — monthly, annual, usage-based, seat-based. If a subscription cancellation fires a webhook, Dropcause catches it.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. You can export everything as a CSV before you leave.
